The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic further accelerated this process, emphasizing the urgency of identifying <\/span>new natural remedies with high technological value<\/b>. From this awareness, <\/span>SPIN \u2013 SPermidin and Eugenol INtegrator<\/b> was born. This is a European project funded by <\/span>EIT Food<\/b> under the EU\u2019s <\/span>Crisis Response Initiative<\/span><\/i>, in which <\/span>TGD<\/b> actively participated in the formulation of a dietary supplement dedicated to immune support.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Scientific Rationale Behind the SPIN Project<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The SPIN project was coordinated by the <\/span>University of Bologna<\/b>, with participation, alongside <\/span>Targeting Gut Disease<\/b>, from IMDEA Food<\/a>, Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences<\/a>, Molino Naldoni<\/a> and Xeda<\/a><\/span>.
